It's gonna be a busy and exciting summer for Resource Movement... and we're looking for three awesome Toronto-based people to be a part of this work!
Thanks to financial support from the Canada Summer Jobs program (which we're supplementing to offer each position a true living wage), we are hiring for three 8-week contract positions. See below for short descriptions of these roles, along with a link to the detailed job posting for each position:
National Gathering Coordinator
Following up on our very first National Gathering in 2018, we're organizing a 3-day event for Resource Movement participants to connect, learn, and strategize together - and we need someone awesome to help us make it happen! This is a great opportunity for someone who loves coordinating complex and events, with equal amounts of detail-oriented precision and open-hearted love.
Research & Education Coordinator
Popular education is at the core of our work, and we need to create some new materials that better reflect the realities of our members and communities. This is a great opportunity for someone who's passionate about making important knowledge accessible by creating workshops and written/visual resources.
Member Engagement & Communications Coordinator
As our membership continues to grow, we want to create space for everyone involved in Resource Movement to meaningfully shape the direction of our work. This summer contract is an awesome opportunity for a young person who's passionate about democratic engagement, loves coordinating detailed projects, and has a flair for creating compelling educational resources.
The application deadline for all three positions is Monday June 10th, at 10am EST.
Please share these opportunities far and wide! And if you think you might be interested in applying, please don't be shy about getting in touch. Many candidates may feel both interested and qualified in more than one of these positions - if that's the case for you, we encourage you to submit separate applications for as many of these jobs as you'd like!
To apply for any of these positions, you must be eligible for Canada Summer Jobs funding. Here are the detailed eligibility criteria for this funding - if you have questions about your eligibility, get in touch with us! To be eligible to apply, you must:
